Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 39-year-old Hispanic male.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jose Estrada Serna.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP JOSE ESTRADA SERNA (December 15, 1981 – June 6, 2021)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 5:50 a.m.

The decedent is believed to have been indigent and homeless. His body was found lifeless inside a vehicle.

This was an accidental overdose.
