Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 37-year-old female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Kara Cathcart. Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Kirkland.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Multiple Drug Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 3:34 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on March 12, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive.

The government investigator chose not to list the drugs found in the decedent’s system.
