(L.A.) Keith Carter, 54, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 54-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Keith Carter.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Hypertensive Atherosclerotic Heart Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Acute Pyelonephritis, Hypothermia

RIP KEITH CARTER (December 16, 1967 – December 12, 2022)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 9:20 a.m.

This was ruled an accidental and not a natural death likely because it was the hypothermia that precipitated the death.
