(L.A.) Kevin Ward, 67, Died in a Rehab / Detox Center

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 67-year-old Black male that occurred in a rehabilitation / detox center.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Kevin Ward.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP KEVIN WARD (October 3, 1955 – January 6, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 8:59 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 22, presumably after the results of tox screening came back negative for drugs.
