Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 36-year-old Black female that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Laura Butler.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Multiple Drug Toxicity

RIP LAURA BUTLER (January 3, 1987 – January 9, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 11:30 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 7, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
