(L.A.) Lekha Chheng, 42, Died on a Beach

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 42-year-old Asian male that occurred on a beach.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Lekha Chheng.

Height: 5 feet 9 inches. Weight: 150 pounds

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Drowning

Other Significant Condition: Methamphetamine Use

RIP LEKHA CHAN CHHENG (October 30, 1980 – September 15, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 12:06 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 8, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the meth.

The decedent was Cambodian. He was a registered sex offender in Long Beach.
