The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Leona Crawford.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Progressive Inanition

Cause of Death B: 2900

Other Significant Conditions: Severe Osteoporosis, Hip Fracture, Decubitus Ulcers

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 6:30 a.m.

290.0 was the ICD-9 code for senile dementia, uncomplicated.

This was ruled an accident apparentlly because it was the hip fracture that initiated the sequence of events that led to death.
