Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 81-year-old Black male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Lester Johnson.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP LESTER JOHNSON (February 16, 1942 – February 17, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 8:32 a.m.

The ruling by the medical examiner was published in late June after tox results came back.
