(L.A.) Luis Lopez-Flores, 25, Died in a Park

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 25-year-old Latino male that occurred in a park.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Luis Lopez-Flores.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wounds

RIP LUIS LOPEZ-FLORES (July 16, 1998 – January 11, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 8:45 p.m.

The decedent was killed during a gang-related shooting.

LAPD officers called to Beryl Street and Mercury Avenue near the Rose Hill Recreation Center at 7:58 p.m. learned that the victim had been shot before crashing the vehicle he was driving.
