(L.A.) Melissa Hernandez, 49, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 49-year-old Hispanic female that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Melissa Hernandez.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of the Head

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 5:37 p.m.

So far, L.A. County has already had six suicides reported for the first day of this month. We normally have just about two.

Note that there are multiple decedents named “Melissa Hernandez” in the public record.
