Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 15-year-old Hispanic female that occurred at a hospital for women and children.

The coroner’s office has identified the teenager as Mercedes Paez Vasquez.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Diabetic Ketoacidosis

Other Significant Condition: Aspergillosis
