Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 38-year-old Black male.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Michael Malone.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 3:58 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 18, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
