(L.A.) Milay Tilva, 28, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 28-year-old Asian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Milay Tilva.

Height: 5 feet 11 inches / Weight: 165 pounds

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of the Arm and Torso

RIP MILAY MITESH TILVA (March 24, 1996 – January 11, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 12:45 p.m.

The decedent was of Indian descent. The government investigator Phi Le had initially declared the year of birth as 1986 and the age as 38.

Riverside County’s sheriff has recorded multiple arrests for this individual going back several years, the most recent apparently being on May 1, 2024, when he was arrested for three felonies and two misdemeanors, including terrorist threats and arson.

Tilva was arrested at the Metropolitan State Hospital. He appeared to have mental competency issues.
