(L.A.) Nowell Canonge, 33, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Nowell Canonge.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine
Other Significant Condition: Atherosclerotic Heart Disease

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 10:37 a.m.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in late August, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
The decedent has been arrested in Santa Barbara on August 14, 2020, for the following:
135 – Destroying Evidence
314.1 – Indecent Exposure
647(A) – Disorderly Conduct: Solicit Lewd Act
69 – Obstruct/Resist Executive Officer
647.6(A)(1) – Annoy or Molest Child
647.6. (a) (1) Every person who annoys or molests any child under 18 years of age shall be punished by a fine not exceeding five thousand dollars ($5,000), by imprisonment in a county jail not exceeding one year, or by both the fine and imprisonment.
