(L.A.) Raymond Burlew, 75, Died From Meth

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 75-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Raymond Burlew.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Methamphetamine Use

RIP RAYMOND BURLEW (March 31, 1949 – September 20, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 11:00 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 27, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
