The coroner’s office has identified the person as Robert McMullen. Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Mitchell.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Hanging

We’re assuming that Robert in 2003 was a white man. He was the son of Edna May Mitchell, who later lived until 2008, dying at the age of 96. He was also survived by a younger sister named Debra Jean.
