Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Robert West.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Acute Myocardial Infarction

Cause of Death B: Acute Coronary Thrombus

Cause of Death C: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP ROBERT WEST (August 14, 1980 – February 5, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 2:15 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on March 14.
