(L.A.) Salvador Hernandez, 33, Died in Jail

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old male of Latin American ethnicity that occurred in jail.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Salvador Hernandez.

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl

RIP SALVADOR HERNANDEZ (December 20, 1989 – January 11, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 9:30 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 21, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug.

This was an accidental drug overdose.
