The coroner’s office has identified the infant girl as Serenity Hamid.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Intrauterine Fetal Demise

Cause of Death B: Placental Abruption

Cause of Death C: Maternal Severe Preeclampsia

Other Significant Condition: Maternal Methamphetamine Use

The baby was declared deceased at Whittier Hospital Medical Center, located at 9080 Colima Road, Whittier, California 90605.
