(L.A.) Stephanie Silva, 43, Died Behind a Business

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old female that occurred behind a business.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Stephanie Silva and listed her race/ethnicity as White/Caucasian.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Torso

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 3:29 a.m.

The decedent was fatally shot in Lancaster.

L.A. County sheriff’s deputies had responded to the 44900 block of Valley Central Way for a shooting. They found a woman with a gunshot wound to the upper body; she was pronounced dead at the scene by LAFD paramedics.

A man, believed to be about 30 to 35 years old, was also found with a gunshot wound to the upper body. He was taken to a hospital and is now in stable condition.

There is currently no information on a possible suspect or the circumstances of the shooting.
