(L.A.) Tristan Beaudette, 35, Died in a Park

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 35-year-old Caucasian male that occurred in a park.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Tristan Beaudette.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound to the Head

RIP TRISTAN BEAUDETTE (November 19, 1982 – June 22, 2018)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 5:21 a.m.

The decedent was a research scientist who was fatally shot while camping with his two young daughters in a tent at Malibu Creek State Park.

Anthony Rauda was found guilty in May 2023 for the crime.
