(L.A.) Yun Choi, 58, Ended Her Life

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 58-year-old Chinese [sic] female that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Yun Choi, resident of Baldwin Avenue in El Monte.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Hanging

RIP YUN CHOI (April 26, 1963 – September 19, 2021)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 6:50 p.m.

The decedent’s name appears to be Korean, but the government investigator listed her race/ethnicity as Chinese.
